Cheesecake Crescent Rolls Casserole
Servings: 8–10 | Prep Time: 10 minutes | Bake Time: 30 minutes | Total Time: 40 minutes
🧾 Ingredients:
For the base and top:
-
2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
-
1/2 cup (1 stick or 115g) unsalted butter, melted
-
1/4 cup granulated sugar
-
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
For the cheesecake filling:
-
2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
-
3/4 cup granulated sugar
-
1 large egg
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
-
Pinch of salt
👩🍳 Instructions:
1. Preheat oven & prepare pan
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
2. Layer the bottom crescent roll
Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the pan, stretching and sealing any seams to form a solid base.
3. Make the cheesecake filling
In a medium bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, 3/4 cup sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until smooth and creamy.
4. Spread the filling
Pour and spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll base.
5. Add the top layer
Unroll the second can of crescent dough and gently place it over the cream cheese filling, again sealing seams and covering fully.
6. Top with butter and cinnamon sugar
Pour melted butter evenly over the top. Mix the 1/4 cup sugar with cinnamon (if using), then sprinkle it all over the buttered surface.
7. Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 30–35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
8. Cool and serve
Let it cool for at least 15–20 minutes before slicing into bars. Serve warm, at room temperature, or chilled—your choice!
